Филмът на Деймиън Шазел получи цели 7 отличия от 7 възможни във филмовата категория.

 

Мюзикълът предварително бе смятан за фаворит и имаше най-много номинации. „La La Land” взе 7 от 7 възможни отличия – за комедия или мюзикъл, за сценарий, за актьор и актриса във филмова комедия или мюзикъл, за оригинална песен, за оригинална музика и за режисьор.

 

Ема Стоун спечели Златен глобус за най-добра актриса в категорията комедия или мюзикъл за ролята й във филма „La La Land”. Актрисата победи колегите си Хейли Щайнфелд, Атен Бенинг, Мерил Стрийп и Лили Колинс.

 

Райън Гослинг спечели Златен глобус за най-добра мъжка роля в категорията комедия или мюзикъл за ролята му във филма „La La Land”. Гослинг успя да победи конкуренцията в лицата на Джона Хил, Райън Рейнолдс, Колин Фарел и Хю Грант.

 

Другият голям фаворит „Moonlight” бе удостоен с приза за най-добър филм в категория „драма”. Изабел Юпер получи награда за най-добра актриса в същата категория за ролята си в „Elle”, филмът на Пол Верховен получи Златен глобус за чуждоезичен филм.
